    I’ve set up a Zotpress shortcode to display a number of items from my library on a WP page using the urlwrap=”title” attribute. Of the seven items my test page displays, two do not display a link, yet all seven items have the URL attribute set.

    Here’s the shortcode:

    [zotpress collection="932RTZH6" showtags="no"
    style="harvard1" sortby="title" urlwrap="title"  abstract="yes" ]

    Here’s a link to the test page that code produces.

    For example, the second item has a link and the third doesn’t. Yet both items have the same zotero attributes/fields set.

  • I’ve now updated, and indeed URLwrap now works with Chicago author-date. But you are aware, yes?, that the more recent versions of Chicago author-date do headline vs. sentence style capitalization of titles (see Chicago quick guide), thus your lowercasing is not in accordance with the style. And Zotero recommends storing titles in sentence capitalization (e.g., here), as it’s apparently easier for Zotero to convert to headline capitalization than the other way around. Is there a way Zotpress can preserve URLwrap while maintaining the headline-style capitalization expected in Chicago?

    Many thanks,

    Yes, I’m aware, but I’m not sure what to do about it at present. Styling is done on the Zotero end but I can’t get just the styled title. I’ll be thinking about it some more.
