• The plugin seems working well in detecting parameters (specifically the URL)

Look here for a screenshot with Meta Pixel Helper

But in Meta events report we can see only home page URLs detected

Look here for a screenshot with Meta event details

Even if the plugin sends full URLs, we are not collecting all of them. So we are not able to use some view content events for ads optimization

    Many thanks

You overestimate my clairvoyant powers ??

I can’t tell you if there is any problem without actually looking at your site.

Do you see the tag fired on other pages when testing with Pixel Helper Chrome extension? Do you see events fired?

Do you use WooCommerce? If yes, are the usual events fired (viewcontent, addtocart, purhcase)?

    Hi,

    thanks for your reply

I agree that it is not simple to find the reasons of such issues. We are trying to understand.

Some fired events are tracked also in pages different from the home. Look here

We also tried to add a product in the woocommerce cart and buying it. Any events has been tracked

    Thanks

It’s an image showing a working pixel with some normal events.

Cool. That pixel seems tracking from the checkout page, while Meta is showing me only events tracked in home page. This is the reason of my first request. Thanks!

If that is an WooCommerce checkout page, it doesn’t have the expected InitiateCheckout event. Probably because you have some plugin that doesn’t declare it correctly. It’s hard to tell without actually checking the site.

I know it is difficult from here.

But the original purpose of this thread is to try to understand (and to do something) why, using your plugin, Meta is tracking ONLY events in “home page” (page views, time on page, scrolling and many more…), while is NOT tracking anything FROM all the other pages.

This happens while the Meta Pixel Helper shows “green” with events tracked in inner pages

    Thanks

I can’t tell you why Meta doesn’t report events fired on other pages. The pixel seems to work fine, so those events should be present in the reports.

What I did notice based on your screenshot, is the lack of a speciffic e-commerce event on the checkout page, InitiateCheckout. But this seems a different problem that the one you described.

Maybe it has to do with the multilingual setup, but this is just a supposition.

You can contact Meta support directly and ask them why the events are reported only for the home page. They should be able to check your data, and at least they will have the possibility to actually test your events.

If you want to continue this conversation, please share your site URL, so I can take a look at your events.

Awesome! This is the site. If you have some to add about this issue, we really appreciate

We fixed a call with Meta to ask about these things. We’ll see.

    Many many thanks!

    Issue solved.

Meta’s technical assistance said that “the system is bugged”, so the dashboard doesn’t show anymore urls different from the home page, while numbers about events, even those coming from inside pages, are collected.

    Thanks and regards
