• Hi,

I’m getting tons of visits supposedly from domains.

Of course, they are fake as someone is spoofing the domains in order to get to my site.

So, I have tried all manners of ways via .htaccess to block these domains without success. Tried plugins, no good.

I would appreciate some guidance on how to achieve this please.

    Many Thanks

  • Hi,

Wordfence can block IP address ranges. Do a WHOIS lookup on an IP address and find out which IP range the domain belongs to. Once you know that you can use the advanced block to block that IP address range. You should be able to do this by clicking from the Live Traffic to WHOIS to blocking.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi,

Whats the point in doing that when they are hijacking another domain’s ip hiding their original identity ?

All that would achieve would be to block what maybe a potential good Ip?
