URL Validation

    Did you check the additional field options when you select the text field as a ‘website’ field?

    There are quite a few (require www, remove www, etc.) as evidenced from this screenshot:

    Are none of them working for you as intended, or did you want Pods to ‘test’ the URL for you?

    No they are not, when I try to edit the category and add something in the field, it does not validate www.

    There is no UI Validation on the text fields for the advanced format selected.

    Recreate:
    Create a pods for category
    Create a custom field with advanced www
    Go to a category note the field has no validation

    I did just test this with our current version of Pods 2.5.2.

    I get the pop-up ‘Please enter a URL’ for one where I left the https:// off and where I chose https:// but remove www. I also had it add the www when I left it off when I changed the formatting to require www if no sub-domain listed.

    I am not sure what I doing wrong then, anyhow I got another solution. Will drop issue now, thanks.
