URL to PDF in media library not working

  • hi yall,

    when i click the url, that I got from the library i opens a page instead of downloading

    and i get this error

    This page doesn’t seem to exist.
    It looks like the link pointing here was faulty. Maybe try searching?

  • Hi there!

    First, I would recommend you to double-check the file existence in this specific directory path: ‘wp-content/uploads/2022/10/’

    Make sure the .pdf file is there and also double-check the file name and make sure it has the exact same name.

    it is working in an incognito window but I get the error in a normal window,

    can we post screenshots here?

    Tell me, is it ok to just send someone the direct URL for the pdf?

    i is best practice to have a DL link on an actual page?
