  • Dear @zappob,

You can add the following class to it: sg-confirm-popup-#popupid.
    Ex. Popup
This will open a popup before a user goes to the page from the link.

    Thanks for your fast reply.

Maybe I wasn’t clear enough, but I just want to open the popup, not linking to a site. Your example leads me just to your homepage. Or have I misunderstood your answer?

I just looked up how to use the class, but this is not, what I need.

I have to supply a valid URL in a field, but I want to link to a popup instead of a page, eg. “https://mysite.com/#popupid” instead of “https://mysite.com/site”.

    Dear @zappob,

Please, check the example below, maybe this is what you needed:
    Example <a href="https://yoursite.com#sg-popup-id-1">Click Text</a>

If this is not what you need either, please, contact us for a more detailed assistance.

Hello, I have this same need and the “a href” tag doesn’t work for me… I’m wondering if I need to add the class you mentioned above to make this work??? The shortcode it’s giving me is [sg_popup id=1]. I would like to use a URL instead as the plugin I’m wanting to place this popup in doesn’t allow for shortcodes… thoughts???
