url tag in shortcode?

  • I am using Crayon right now, but I like this plugin. In crayon I used a lot of [cpp url="..."][/cpp] tags. Is it possible to use those url-tags with enlighter, too or will it be possible in the future?

    i’m not so familiar with Cryon..what is the intention of the the url attribute, does it load/include remote content ?

    if so, i can add such feature to the next release

    Hi Andi,
    thanks for the quick response.
    The url feature is very useful, because you can upload single files and then just write the absolute or relative url into it.
    For example, I upload my scripts in mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/. In the settings, I set this directory as default and then i can load scripts easily via [cpp url="myscript.cpp"][/url]

    But it would also be possible to use an absolute url like [cpp url="https://github.com/.../myscript.cpp"][/url].
    This feature would be great ??

    I’ve created an Issue on Github https://github.com/AndiDittrich/WordPress.Enlighter/issues/60

    I will add this feature to one of the next versions with some additional security restrictions. Such option can cause major security flaws in case it is used in comments or by non privileged users.
