URL still exists

  • I had a “pretty permalink ” page https://www.xyz.com/cleaning, but when I deleted it from wordpress, and tried to make a new page still called “cleaning”‘ it automatically created the pretty permalink as “cleaning-2”. How do I go about deleting the original “cleaning” permalink so I can reuse the original cleaning link.
