URL Shortify killing my SEO!

    Please help – since upgrading to URL Shortify 1.4.10 (or whatever recent one is – I’m on 1.5.1 now) – the shortened link is now taking over my sitemaps! So the google sitemaps point to site.com/kdjr and not to the canonical URL!

    Needless to say this has caused big problems for SEO… I’ve noticed that this is a problem previously reported and not fixed.

    FYI I am using Litespeed Server and Yoast SEO is managing my sitemap.xml…..

    Hi,

    We can understand how frustrating it is.

    We found this issue earlier and we already fixed it in 1.4.11.

    Please try to generate the sitemap again and check whether an issue still persists or not.
