URL resets after selecting filter option

Hello,
I can’t quite figure this one out. When I go to a category page, it displays all of the attribute filters and all of their options. But it appears only half of the options actually work. What I mean is when I select an option, it starts loading the products like it is supposed to, but then resets the url, resulting in displaying the complete category again.
Now when I select one of the options that do work, I also see that in my sidebar all of the not working options are removed from the list and only the working ones stay in the list. So somehow it does show all of the options in the sidebar by default, but only fully works for a couple of them (always the same so not random).
Tried with caching plugins deactivated, still didn’t work.

Another example, selecting ‘double hanging lamps’ resets the filter, while selecting ‘levitating lamps’ does work, but removes the not working options from the sidebar:
