    Hello,

After Mollie tech support with ticket ID 1993277 couldn’t help us so far, we’re trying our luck here.

On our site, the total should be evaluated using a URL request. But no matter what we do, the “0” always comes up.

We would be happy if we had a solution for this as soon as possible…

    kind regards

    Hi,

Are there any price options added to the form? Because at least 1 is required to make it work.

    Hey Nic,

    thx for your fast replay!

The price-option is set to “open” and the frequency is set to “once”. The problem is, that it only appears when the price-options display is set to “dropdown” or “list”, but not when “table with quantity fields”. And the next “problem” with this is, that although the price-options are supposed to be open, they are not editable by users.

    Hello Nick,

do you perhaps have any news about this bug? We’re on pins and needles because we can’t rent out vehicles without processing payments.

    Best wishes
    Mario

    Hi Mario,

Open amount is not possible with the table with quantity fields. Also the customer would always be able to change the amount via the field or url. Otherwise you have to set a fixed price for price options.

    Hi Nick,

an open price was actually not desired (it was supposed to be a 50% deposit – but this is supposedly not possible with Mollie). Therefore, the total amount from the request should now be displayed. What can be done now to ensure this finally happens?

You need to setup a price option with open amount, and hide the input field with css so the customer will not see the amount field. The price options display should not be the table, but any other. Then you can set the open amount with the query string parameters. But we aware that the customer can still change the amount by updating the amount in the url

    Hey Nick,

thanks again for the info. Even though the amount is now shown correctly, after confirmation I receive the message ‘Please give authorization to collect from your account’. Therefore, a payment or corresponding redirection to Mollie is not possible.

    Best regards,

I see the form is modified and is missing the price option in the form. I think that is the problem, because now it can not check if it is an one-off or recurring payment.

So the price options are hidden and set to “once.” Somehow, however, there is a loading error:

[Error] Element with the ID “price_option” not found. updateFormBasedOnPriceOption (payment:579) (anonymous function) (payment:569) [Error] Total element not found in the DOM mollie_forms_799_totals (payment:626) (anonymous function) (payment:570) [Error] Total element not found in the DOM mollie_forms_799_totals (payment:626)

How do you hide the price options? because I can’t find them in your form if I inspect code.

Also, I think so at least. Unfortunately, this whole situation is not of my own making. The person who originally set it up no longer does it. I just had the pleasure of being the one to fix it now. Someone else suggested that it might be a Mollie bug, so I have now turned to you (guys). I really don’t know.
