Url of portfolio Item translated not found

Polylang 1.7.12

Polylang Settings:

URL modifications
The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks
Example: https://www.mydomain.it/en/my-post/

Hide URL language information for default language On

Remove /language/ in pretty permalinks On
Example: https://www.mydomain.it/en/

The front page url contains the language code instead of the page name or page id On
Example: https://www.mydomain.it instead of https://www.mydomain.it/home-ita/

Detect browser language On
When the front page is visited, set the language according to the browser preference

Activate languages and translations for media On

Custom post types
Activate languages and translations for custom post types.

I’ve created portfolio items which work fine.
Then I’ve created the english version with polylang plugin but if i want to access it I’ve this error “404 not found”.

Here’s a link with default language (italian) https://www.mydomain.it/chisiamo/profilo/
And it’s translation (english) https://www.mydomain.it/en/about/profile/

The probleme come from the language code “en” in the url because if I change the setting of polylang and uncheck the option “Hide the language information in url for the default language” I’ll have an url like that: https://www.mydomain.it/it/chisiamo/profilo/ and it’ll give me the same error “404 not found”
