    Hi,

My last 3 posts on my website are showing as “URL, not in Google”. I tried the request indexing page option for these individual pages, but still not working.

I am receiving traffic for all my other pages. When I checked in Google Search Console, I saw that, up to 7 May, all the pages were showing in “Submitted and Indexed”. After that, all those Google indexed pages are shown in the “Indexed and not submitted in the sitemap.” I have submitted the sitemap and these pages are there in the sitemap. The sitemap is also added to the search console.

So, are there any settings in Yoast that are causing this issue? How to fix it?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello Govind,

Thanks for reaching out regarding your posts that are not indexed. I checked and it is in the sitemap with no directive in the robots.txt blocking indexing. When you requested indexing, was there any error/notification?

    Hi Maybellyne,

    Thanks for getting back.
When I request indexing, I am not getting any errors. It is coming as URL is not in Google.

    Hello Govind,

Can you please resubmit your sitemap? Be sure to submit only /sitemap_index.xml/ and nothing else. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/help/submit-sitemap-search-engines/.

Please note that it can take time for Google to read the sitemaps, so we recommend you wait a bit after submitting the sitemap before checking if the issue is resolved. Also, keep in mind that Google Search Console reports are not real-time. So please allow Google a few days to update the information.

Meanwhile, here are checklists on why Google may not be crawling/indexing your site: https://yoast.com/reasons-optimized-content-doesnt-rank/

    Hi Maybellyne,

I have tried resubmitting the sitemap on 5 Aug. It’s around one week now and still there is no change.
