This is a bit of an urgent situation, I cannot edit my gallery at all.
I had a another question here about 2 years ago, and to this day, no one ever replied to it.

I am really hoping the same thing will not happen here. What’s the point of a support area if no one is supporting?

    #waiting patiently …. hmmmm …..

    Just a little more info…

I created a new gallery and copied all the photos from the old broken one to the new one. And I have no problem saving the changes if the change is the title field. However, I still get a URL Not Found error when I press the Save Changes button after trying to edit the postLink field even on the brand new gallery.

I found the problem is that the NextGEN Gallery plugin is triggereing the mod_sec installed for the domain. A similar problem can be found here with problem uploading:

Can anyone post the code to put in an .htaccess file to add to ‘nextgen-gallery/admin’ folder which would solve my particular problem of not being able to edit certain fields (postLink, exclude, etc.) of a gallery image because ‘Save Changes’ button takes me to URL Not found page?

Did you end up having any luck with this.

This problem is killing me at the moment. I can not save any changes without it sending me to a 404 page. Even though I get sent to the 404 page some changes will actually save like Thumbnail edits however critical things like text and deleting images do not work at all. Basically any bulk actions can not be saved

    Anyone have any ideas?

The problem resolved itself with the latest updates.

But before it was resolved I think I worked around it by editing the database directly in phpMyadmin accessed from the control panel of my hosting service.
