URL links in front page content boxes

I have an external URL linked directly to the small grey box contained within the location of my front page content boxes, so when the small grey box is clicked, it directs the user to an external photo-gallery. When the small grey box is clicked, this web photo-gallery page opens up on top of the existing evolve blog template and a new box doesn’t open. Can I configure it to ensure than a new browser tab window opens up when it is clicked in order to ensure the blog remains open also?
