• I found if I create a link to a web site in a post, ex xxxxx => [link_to_website] yyyyy, sometimes (not every time) the wordpress only outputs xxxxx => , the following sentences are gone when user visit the post, but it displays normal in Gutenberg editor mode.

I checked the HTML code, there is a aria-label, Gutenberg will insert xxxxx => [link] yyyyy into it (so it will be a long label.), If I changed the aria-label to a simple word like “test”, then the problem is gone, and is it because my post is Chinese ?

    Hi,

Writing in Chinese should not be a problem, there were a few changes to links in Gutenberg 4.5.0, which was released a few hours ago, would you be able to check if the problem is fixed in that version?

If they’re not fixed, we will of course need to look into this.

Same error, if I remove aria-label tag or change to a short name, like “test”, the output will be normal.

That’s not ideal at all, you should of course still be able to use any language.

Do you have an example of some markup that is causing this behavior?

I am also facing the same kind of problem in my site. I have a homepage with several thumbnails linking to pdf pages. When we go to a specific pdf page, there is no problem.

But when we click on the home button or the header image, we should be reaching the homepage, instead the latest post page opens. I am totally unsure about the reason for this.

I tried all the possible ways to clear this problem viz.
    1. Clearing the Cache
    2. Changing the Permalinks, etc.

    Please help.

This is another users topic from over a month ago, at this time I do ask that you create your own topic, as much has happened since then, and scenarios are rarely the same.
