URL link for invoice

    Hi,

    I have an issue with my wordpress admin panel. It is currently IP locked by nginx for security purposes, but we have a customer who can’t access to his invoice because the URL for it contains “admin”.
    Do you think it is possible to change this URL to avoid the “admin” in the URL, preventing customers to get their invoices ? And why does this link redirect to the admin panel in the first place ?

    Hi @brunom34,

    Since admin-ajax is the default route for AJAX requests in WordPress, this actually has nothing to do with the actual admin panel or admin permissions for that matter.

    Blocking admin-ajax.php site-wide would create more problems, breaking more than just the PDF invoices plugin, so the recommended thing to do would be to exclude the admin-ajax.php base URL from your firewall. I hope that makes sense & helps. ??
