    Hi There,

    I just installed an SSL certificate for a client and all of my permalinks have updated well, however, I am having an issue that relates to the MailChimp for WordPress plugin. When checking my site on whynopadlock.com, I am getting an error that links back to an insecure <form> on my home page. Upon inspection, I can see that my MailChimp plugin is still calling http rather than https and I do not where to edit this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
    Thanks,
    Nick

    Hi,

    I can’t reach your website at all, error “too many redirects”. Please let us know when that is fixed so we can take a look at the mixed content. Unless you manually included a http link in the form it should not give any problems with HTTPS.

    Thanks,

    Hey, sorry about the site being down. I am having a heck of a time with my server not wanting to handle any redirect requests and the htaccess file broke everything for a little while.

    The line of code I am referencing is this:

    <form action="https://unitedchurchofbacon.us10.list-manage1.com/subscribe/post" method="POST" role="form" class="form-signup">

    I looked throughout all of the settings and sections that were manually manipulated when creating the forms but I can’t figure out how to change the HTTP to https to fix this issue.

    Frankly, this is just a Chrome issue where it is showing errors for any non-secure form call on a secure page. Not the end of the world but my curiosity has definitely gotten the better of me and I want to know how to fix it. ??

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

    That is not a form generated by our plugin, so I’m afraid I can’t help you with that besides advising to replace it with a form build in our plugin, that will certainly solve the issue.

    Hope that helps!

    Kind regards,
