URL is correctly set to m org site, but .com shows it as an old domain.

Hello, I am a beginner and have made my share of mistakes over the last week of working at this 15 hours a day. I started out with a com site, unknowing that WordPress.com and .org were separate. I thought WordPress just had both under them like McDonalds has quarter pounders and big Macs. I cancelled my .com business account, after realizing I never needed it. I am using my org site, but jetpack says I have an identity issue and WordPress com is showing org. I need to do away with that old domain completely as I let it go, and get everything over to org. I am designing my site in Kadence over at org, so I hope this won’t cause issues there. I don’t know where to go to get this fixed. Also having site glitches I can’t find answers t in the forums, ugh. Thank you
