url help!

Hi guys, I was wondering. I see one some people’s pages, they say it’s ran by Word Press, but the links to the about me and stuff, don’t use the page id effect. Like on mine, studnow.com. An example of what I am talking about is: poker chip tricks. I was wondering how does one go about having their url say about, instead of it saying id:15 or whatever. Like myown does.
