URL Forwarding Issue- Please help me!

I created my first WP site a few weeks ago and have been working on it for a few weeks, and, other than finishing the content of the site, the only HUGE problem I have left to figure out is how to redirect the main URL for my site.

To be clear (and hopefully someone reading this can help me), when someone goes to yourexample.com, it needs to be automatically redirected to yourexample.com/home to properly be seen on the viewer end.

For specific example, you can look at my site at crescendodallas.com. and look at what NEEDS to be the home page here: https://www.crescendodallas.com/home/

My theme (Cushy by WooThemes), has a dedicated home page (which I had to rename to News) canNOT be deleted, so I created another “Home”, which is what I want to first show up when people come to the site.

I already did some things in Godaddy as far as forwarding goes, but it didn’t work and just said my site was “temporarily unavailable”.

If ANYONE can help me, or at least give me some guidance, I’d really appreciate it.
