Jetpack doesn’t include a subscription lightbox or pop up, so you won’t be able to use this as is, I’m afraid.

You could however use a plugin that allows you to create pop-ups that can include shortcodes, and you’ll be able to use Jetpack’s Subscription shortcode in there:

Thanks for getting back to me. I’ll have the button point to a new page for now, using Jetpack’s subscription shortcode.

That said, how can I remove the shortcode’s title? (The page requires a title already, so this is redundant. See here: https://www.tickettotakeoff.com/subscribe-to-rss)

To remove the shortcode title, you can add an empty title shortcode parameter, like so:

[jetpack_subscription_form title=""]
