url field validation

  • Hi, I have my url fields set to – Required ‘No’
    but when I submit the form it still says “Please enter a valid URL”.
    Also i noticed that https:// is required in the url, simply typing https://www.mysite.com doesn’t validate. I put https:// as the default value so they just have to type the rest of the url. Any help here on why these fields are still coming up as not validated when I put Required ‘No’. Thanks for any help, or I’ll have to revert to regular text fields.

    note, i wrote “Also i noticed that https:// is required in the url, simply typing www mysite.com doesn’t work. The site added the https:// in my post.

    nevermind I just changed them to text fields
