Please edit the download item in question and make sure you have a value for the file URL field (the file that you are offering).

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Yes on the editing the file and file path were there. (If i put the url into the browser the pdf file would show).

I did get it to work though, by just deleting the download and redoing it again. Am not too short what happened on the first go.

I noticed with the pdf files that they open up in the browser exposing the full url link to the file. Is there a way of hiding this url or masking it easily.

    Nice plugin.

    Thanks

Thank you for the link. All your help is greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks

I too am having exactly the same problem – I click ‘select file’ and upload a file but get the same error message as GWalles. Where would I find a value for the URL field?

If you go to the media gallery you should be able to edit that file. In the edit more you will see a field called “URL”. Copy the URL from there.
