    Hello,

After updating to Blocksy version 2.0.61; My links in the form of siteadi.com/#page-name started to appear as siteadi.com/ in the search bar. Everything was normal before the update.

When I clicked on the relevant section, I could see the anchor name in the url section. Now it does not appear. Can you help me?

All plugins and WordPress version are up to date.

  • Hello @fikribatur

I have verified our latest update and I can assure you 200% that there is absolutely no possibility that this could’ve come from our end. There is simply no code in Blocksy that could do this. Everything works quite alright on our end – https://streamable.com/2j93s2.

Have you tried verifying your third party plugins and/or added code? I am quite sure that the answer should lie in there. Start by deactivating your plugins to see if any one of them affects this workflow.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Then I guess the problem is on the elementor side. There was no problem with the Blocksy.2.0.25 version, but I think there is an incompatibility on the elementor side with the 2.0.61 version.

There is no problem in the sections I created with Gutenberg, but as I said, I have permanent connection problems in the sections I created with Elementor. I will do research to solve the problem on the elementor side.

    Thank you.

    Hello @fikribatur

A quick way to confirm if the theme is the problem (which it should definitely not be!) is to temporarily switch the themes to one of the default 202x ones. If the issue still reproduces, then it would fully confirm this is a plugin problem.

Maybe Elementor might’ve updated their software recently?

    Thanks.

    Hi @fikribatur

One more thing. I have just verified this workflow with Elementor and indeed, it seems to be an issue from their side. Even with the default theme, the issue reproduces.

It would be recommended to contact Elementor for more information on this matter.

    Thanks!

There was no problem with a different theme. I think an update within Elementor is causing incompatibility somewhere on the Blocksy side.

    Thank you

    Hello,

I will investigate the issue on the Elementor side. Thank you for the information.

    Hello @fikribatur

I would actually disagree with you. Here is a short video from the default 2021 theme – https://streamable.com/ppfaz6. Notice the behaviour is identical. This would confirm it would be an Elementor thing.

    Hope this clears things up!

    Thanks.

    Hello,

We actually agree ?? I confirmed that there is no problem on Blocksy’s side. I am very pleased with the Blocksy theme, thank you.

There is a problem on Elementor side.

    Hi @fikribatur

Actually, just wait one second. What is really, really, really weird right here is that the default 2021 theme has the same behaviour – which would confirm an Elementor issue.

But I did also test with Blocksy 2.0.25 and that works as you confirmed.

This is confusing me to be honest with you. ?? But nevertheless, I have asked the developers to take a look at this. They have also agreed this is something weird at first glance.

Let’s keep this conversation open and I’ll let you know as soon as I have something from their side.

    Sounds good?

    Hello,
    I’m glad we agreed ??

Let’s wait for a response from your developers then. I will follow the issue as well. Thank you very much for your interest.

Hello, is there any progress on this issue?

Hello, Version: The problem we talked about after version 2.0.60 exists. I was able to do it all. Version: There were no problems until 2.0.60. Unfortunately, this problem I was having arose afterwards.

    Hello @fikribatur

I’m really sorry, but at the moment I do not have an update. I will be back to you as soon as I have something from the devs’ side. ??

    Thanks!
