URL Alt Text does not replace Default Value

Hi,
I have created a form field which a user can not edit and for which I entered a Default Value. Now I want to replace the Default Value with the URL Alt Text but this does not work. The URL Alt text does not replace the Default Value.
Your help is much appreciated!
