The subscription order was not activated during the renewal order creation. During renewal first, the subscription goes to ON-HOLD, then the renewal order is created. After the renewal creation, the subscription will activate again and the comments will be added to the notes. But in this scenario, the subscription was ON-HOLD, then the renewal was created, but the subscription could not be activated again.
Another one in the same scenario: the renewal order was created but that renewal was not listed in the related orders table in the subscription edit page. But the renewal-created comments will be added to the subscription edit page but not listed in the related orders table in the subscription edit page. I can’t find out the solution.
Please, anyone, help to find out the solution to fixing the issue. I’m working as a payment module developer for WooCommerce in PSP. It was urgent to fix the issue in merchant. Please someone help.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @karthikr143 ,

    Thank you for reaching out!

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with WooCommerce Subscriptions—specifically, with renewal orders not activating or appearing in the related orders table. That’s certainly not the expected behavior, and I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

When a renewal order is created, the subscription should automatically reactivate once the payment is successful. If that’s not happening, it may require a closer look.

Since this involves premium extensions like WooCommerce Subscriptions and Memberships, I recommend reaching out to us directly at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You might need to create an account to access the support page if you don’t already have one.

Our team will be happy to assist you further from there!
