I woke up this morning and for some reason can NOT access my site at all!
When I go to /wp-admin or wp-login it redirects me to my custom login page which wont show because of Maintenance mode being enabled!!!! I’ve tried renaming my plugins folder but it gave me a php error.

    See photos. This is Urgent!

I’ve done nothing since! All I did last night was install bbpress and create a forum on my site. Is it because of the update? Please someone help me ??

My site needs to be done very soon as I have a launch date!

First thing would do is rename your theme theme directoryengine to directoryengine-bak and rename your plugins folder to plugins-bak

This should return your site back to the default theme with no plugins. From there you can reenable the theme and then the plugins one by one until it falls over again. Then you know where the problem is and you can focus on getting support for that theme/plugin specifically.

Sorry that wasn’t very clear ??

    1. rename your theme directory wp-content/themes/directoryengine to directoryengine-bak
    2. rename your plugins directory wp-content/plugins to plugins-bak

Ok ive done that and am logging in now. Whats the next process? Re enable theme or childtheme or plugins first?

I re-enabled the main theme by rname (not child) and instantly got this:

Fatal error: Class ‘WPBakeryShortCode’ not found in /home4/digninj/public_html/peopleofthesouth.co.za/wp-content/themes/directoryengine/includes/vc_blocks/feature.php on line 5

How would I fix this? I didnt change anything..
