Plugin corrupted sitemap.xml file – cannot use yoast anymore

Urgent help needed
We installed this plugin we were interested in submitting content to google news.
We discovered the google news sitemap is of no use to our site because we do not qualify for it. We also discovered this plugin does not support image files, so there is no need for us to run it.
We cannot go back to using Yoast sitemaps because this plugin has changed some configurations and now our Yoast sitemap doesn’t work.
When we try and visit sitemap.xml – the screen is blank.
The only way we can run a sitemap now is to use this plugin. This is not perfect because it’s not supporting images.
We really need some help to correct the problems this sitemap has caused to our site.
We are a busy blog and really need this problem resolving immediately.
Can somebody please contact us to arrange to fix the problem caused by this plugin?
It may be the plugin has written to a different folder on site. But we cannot find a way to fix it.
