  • Add this to your CSS for #header:

    background-repeat:no-repeat;

    Worked perfick – thank you very much indeed!

    Upgrade also destroyed my site. But a different problem. I was using an altered version of the default WP theme and when it was upgraded to 2.71, it blew out all of my CSS changes and replaced it with the original blue theme. First, why would it override CSS like that, rather than leaving it alone? Also, how do you get back to my CSS if I didn’t back it up? Thank you!

    Greg

    If you didn’t back it up, and if you didn’t rename the theme directory something other than “default”, then it’s gone. You may want to see if your host has a backup, then watch the following video for future reference.

    gwpress: Contact your web host about a backup. If you don’t want your default theme’s customizations overwritten in the future, rename your theme and its folder.

    It’s also best to keep an unmodified version of the default theme around in case something goes wrong with your current theme.
