Hi, I am running the latest plugin of Dokan on my site. If an order placed by a customer has sub-orders (which means multiple vendors are involved) and I change the order status to mark it complete, the sub-order numbers change. For example a parent order number 101 with sub-orders: 102,103 on marking complete changes the sub-order numbers to 105,107….This is very annoying and disturbs our accounting altogether.
Why is this happening and what is the way to resolve this issue ?

  • Hello @vidhugoel ,

    This is an interesting issue.

I have just tested multiple sub-orders and parent orders on the latest Dokan. The order numbers did not change. In a regular sense, the order numbers can not be changed after the order has been generated.

Can you please check again and try while having only WooCommerce and Dokan activated?

    Thank you ??

Yes I tried this but it still happens. Its not happening for every order but it does happen on and off. The sub order numbers change and not the parent order number.

    Hello @vidhugoel ,

I tried again and the sub-order numbers did not change. I tried separately after updating sub-order and parent order. I will recommend trying this on several test orders and let me know how can I reproduce the behavior. Without being able to reproduce the behavior we are unable to debug this.

    Thank you.
