    Hi,

I use elementor for post-editing and Yaost for SEO.

Two days ago, when I try to edit a post and got the error message”There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” Though I can still login to the control panel, I cannot edit post now.

The message from wordpress is “In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Yoast SEO.”

Here is some information of our website:
    WordPress version 5.8.2
Current theme: Hello Elementor (version 2.4.2)
Current plugin: Yoast SEO (version 17.8)
    PHP version 7.4.26

    Here is the error details:

    Hi,

We’re sorry to hear that you encountered this issue. Just to clarify, could you check if you are using the latest version of Elementor, as well as the rest of the other plugins on your site?

Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict, is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty.

Please test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts
