• I have a www.remarpro.com blog hosted at godaddy.com. I was not aware that my yearly payment was due so now my site is offline and godaddy will only put back up if I pay a reinstatement fee plus my subscription fee, which is quite a bit of money for me! My question is, does www.remarpro.com have a cache or backup copy of my site(since it’s really a www.remarpro.com blog) that I can host with wordpress or elsewhere or do I have to go back through godaddy to get my blog back up? It’s been down about 4 days now. This is very urgent please respond as quickly as possible and I really appreciate your help!

You need to pay your bill.

The only people who might (possibly) have made backups, would be Godaddy, but don’t rely on that because many hosts don’t!

When you self-host your website (whch is what wordpress.org is about) you alone are responsible for it. Whereas if you host with wordpress.com it would be done for you.

Once your site is live again, make regular backups of your website – there are many ways to do that, for example by using a plugin.

Check that Godaddy have your email address correct, because you should have received email warnings to renew your hosting.

Paying the money you owe them is the best route to go. Talk to them, see about potential discounts. Who knows. If you can’t afford the website, unfortunately, you can’t afford it. You can setup a free website almost anywhere with a small purchase for the domain name as an alternative.
