    Hello,
On all the sites I host I experience a problem in different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge).

    The situation:
When I want to log in to “my account”, a POP-UP screen appears asking for a username and password.

After a long search, this is always:
    Username: “cms” and Password: “cms”

After these details have been entered, I will only arrive at the actual login page of the site itself.

I’ve consulted Google several times, but can’t figure out how to disable this annoying “extra” login.

Can anyone tell me how I can stop this from happening?

I would love to hear from you,

    Thanks in advance.
    Kind regards,

    Jeroen.

  • Hey @xenixwebdesign!

Great question, and quite an atypical situation! It seems that your login pages are requesting additional HTTP authentication. I ran your site in a test app called Postman and one of the headers it returns reads:

Basic realm= Zadejte jmeno i heslo cms, prosim. (Ochrana pred robotickymi utoky na CMS). Use name and password cms, please. https://cms-protection.active24.cz

Maybe this could help you a little bit in tracking down the cause of the issue?

    Warm regards!

Thank you for this information. I submitted it to the company where I host the sites.

The link is unfortunately no longer working to the topic.

I have a message from the provider saying it is a server issue (security) and it can be disabled on request.

This has now also happened ??

    Thnxx.
