Hi I have woocommerce version woocommerce 8.0.3.
And when I try to create a product
It doesn’t offer me the option of creating digital or pay per download product
Yet I have products that are ebooks or pay per download products and the option is there to create a downloadable product however that was from 1 year ago.
Has woocommerce disallowed this now or is there something wrong with the plugin?
    Any solutions would be helpful

From what I understand, you’re experiencing a bit of a hiccup with creating downloadable products on your WooCommerce 8.0.3. You’re curious if this feature has been removed since you were able to use it about a year ago. Let me assure you, that WooCommerce still allows the creation of downloadable products. The issue you’re facing could be due to several reasons.

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. Clear Cache: Try clearing your browser cache and cookies. Cached data can sometimes lead to unexpected behavior.
    2. Review your WooCommerce Settings: Make sure your WooCommerce settings are set to allow downloadable products. You can check this by going to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Downloadable Products. You can find more information about ?? Digital/Downloadable Product Handling Here
    3. Check for Plugin Conflicts: There’s a chance other plugins might be conflicting with WooCommerce, which can cause some features to malfunction. You can check this by deactivating all other plugins and see if the problem persists. If it does, reactivate the plugins one by one to identify the conflicting ones.
    4. Switch Themes: Try switching to a default WordPress theme like Storefront temporarily to see if your current theme might be causing the issue. Here’s a helpful guide on how to test for conflicts: ?? How to Test for Plugin and Theme Conflicts

If you’ve tried these steps and the issue persists, could you provide more details? Screenshots of the product setup page where you’re having trouble, the steps you’ve already tried, and any recent changes you’ve made would be very helpful in diagnosing the issue.

You can use https://snipboard.io to share screenshots. Just follow the instructions on the page and paste the URL in your reply.

Also, we’d find it helpful if you could share your site’s System Status report. This will give us a better understanding of your site’s setup and help us pinpoint the problem. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

Lastly, could you share the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Once you have that, please paste it inside a Code block in your reply, or use https://pastebin.com/ to paste it and share the link with us.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation in this matter. I’m looking forward to your response so we can solve this issue for you.
