I wanted to change the content size of my posts and followed the directions in a wordpress forum.

and it has crashed my site – https://www.ohhappydaysblog.com/

I changed the number back and double checked that all variables were the same as the original (I had a backup), but nothing was fixed. I tried logging out and rebooting but now it won’t even let me login into the Dashboard.

    Says This:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_LNUMBER in /home/katdav38/ohhappydaysblog.com/wp-content/themes/base-wp/functions.php on line 13

    I don’t see anything wrong with line 13 ??

    Please help!!!
    Very desperate

    Thanks, Katy

    Hello Katy,
    what change have you made?
Try to download the theme and replace your function.php with the original.

    Hi

Thanks for getting back to me. Dreamhost was able to get me back into the Dashboard. I upgraded the theme and now it works. However it did not keep my change. I wanted the width of the sidebar to be 300px. I was able to do that in the CSS under widgets but now the post content and the sidebar are not centered under the title. There is more white space on the left side of my site than I would like. Is there a way to get the content and sidebar centered under the title while still keeping the width of the sidebar?

Hello, if you don’t want lose all THE css modification that have you made you must make a child theme or you can buy premium version of the theme that have a custom css compiler.
To center the elements you must modify the wiDth of the container, remember that Base Wp is based on skeleton 960 grid
