Urgent email problem

Sorry… me again, but this is a BIG one.
I’ve noticed that the user meta field ms_email isn’t getting updated when a user updates their user email address. Consequently, when a member signs up for a second membership, their user email address is re-set BACK to whatever is stored in ms_email.
This is clearly a bug and needs fixing urgently.
Please advise as soon as possible.

NikPS. I’m currently using version 4.1.3 as it’s the latest version which I’ve found to be relatively stable.
