Create LDAP users with WordPress?

Hello,

I’m setting up an e-commerce website with wordpress and I am in need of some help. I’m wondering if there is any way to have wordpress tell an LDAP server to add a user account to the LDAP directory when one is created during the registration process. Also, is there any way to set up based on the product that the user purchases what role will be defined by LDAP? Say if user1 purchases product 1 which falls under product_category2, is there a way to configure user1 as a “cat2prod1” role?

If so, how would I go about setting something like this up? Is there a plugin available that will allow me to do this? If not, what exactly will I need to do to set something like this up?
