URGENT cannot create jobs, resumes or check out

    My users can register accounts, but cannot create resumes, jobs or check out from the cart. I have checked with my host and they say it is a CMS issue and not a server issue. It worked fine all week, but no more. The following error appears:
    Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, root@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    I figured it out, it was the ‘SEO Ultimate’ plugin that crashed the database. Anybody have any ideas on how to prevent it from happening? I will post on their plugin board as well

    You would need to look at the server error log to see what was behind the 500 error. Thats a generic message.

    Hey there,

    Unfortunately nothing stands out here as to why that plugin is causing issues.

    If you still have issues with it I would advise contacting the developer of the plugin for further support.

    It’s ok, I dumped SEO Ultimate and installed Yoast instead and now it works a charm. You can close this thread, I am not going to fiddle with SEO Ultimate again.
