Child product names not showing on grouped product

    I just updated to the latest WooCommerce (Version 3.0.6) but now the names of the child products underneath my grouped product are all the same.

    Previously, on the grouped product page it would display the names of all the child products assoicated to that grouped product. For example: 12 Piece Paint Set, 24 Piece Paint Set, 50 Piece Paint Set.

    But now the list just displays the name of the grouped product again and again. So it’s impossible to tell what you are adding to the cart. For example: Paints, Paints, Paints.

    This means no one will add anything to the cart because they have no idea what they are buying!

  • +1 On that, same problem here. Somehow the WooCommerce team does not like grouped products ;). Seems that grouped products are less or never tested before a release.

    Anyway, keep up the good work WC team! Thank you for the bug fixes and I’m sure you already have a bug fix ready for us grouped product users.

    @bennygill, delete WooCommerce with FTP and put your 3.0.5. Backup back. I presume you made a backup?

    There was a separate fix related to grouped products which may have caused a regression. I’ve logged it here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/14980

    I have fixed a previous issue where the grouped child products (set to “hidden from normal catalogue/searches) all became invisible from within the grouped product page

    An update was released to fix this, so I set it all back to normal (child products “hidden”, within “visible” grouped products)

    Now, as the OP has noticed, all the child products have the same name!

    Have had to go through and make all of them “visible” again, and conversely hide the currently-useless Grouped Products ….pending a fix ??

    Only problem is “directed sales” are not showing in the product page (for me), using the grouped.php provided with 3.0.5 it seems works well.

    Same issue here, multiple domains and servers all doing the same.

    I see there are 3 other posts on here about the same issue from other post starters.
