    Hi there,

The Plugin has been working brilliantly… But lately have been facing issues… Just crossed 10 Million hits in one month on my website, and suddenly i see a notification in my GA which says – Bad Event Tracking Code…

Is this to do with the Maximum Tracking Time and Fire an Event setting that i need to change?

Please help me with this, as a lot of hIts are not getting accounted and GA is acting funny now…

    Plz help…

    Best,

    DigitalTantrik

    Hi digitaltantrik,

I’m just back from holiday. Do you have a link to your website? Do you use the old Analytics tracking code (ga.js)?

It could be that it has something to do with this:

Google’s limits are 10 million hits per month per property and 500 hits per session. For analytics.js is an additional limit of 200,000 hits per visitor per day. If you go over this limit, additional hits will not be processed for that session (Limits and Quotas)

You can read also more about it under the Plugin’s Fire an event Info.

Please let me know if this clears up your situation.

    Regards
