    pmpro_subscription_payment_completed is not called.

Seems didn’t get IPN from Paypal side.

I didn’t setup IPN in my Paypal account because I saw this message under PMP Paypal Express setting->IPN Handler URL: “This URL is passed to PayPal for all new charges and subscriptions. You SHOULD NOT set this in your PayPal account settings.”

Hi, Tony. Sorry you’ve run into this issue. PayPal used to automatically set up the IPN notifications for subscriptions we set up using the URL we provided them in the API request. They don’t do this anymore consistently and so you DO need to set up the IPN URL.

We neglected to update that message. The next release will include language encouraging people to set up the IPN on the PayPal side.

Sorry again for the trouble this caused. I hope you have it all sorted out now.

    Thanks.

    Another, question.

After setup the IPN on Paypal side, will PMP IPN handleer identify the sales of membership? I have othe plugins also use Paypal such as WooCommerce etc, I guess sales from WooCoommerce etc will also generate IPN calls

    Hello @tonygao,

You could use this custom code gist to redirect WooCommerce IPN Requests to PMPro IPN as well. Be sure to add this via your PMPro Customizations Plugin.

    Kind Regards.
    Mary.

@tonygao as the original issue has been addressed, I’m marking this as resolved.

For others with similar IPN forwarding difficulties, please refer to Mary’s post above and you may also check out this Gist from Jason: https://gist.github.com/ideadude/d80db32493be3fa4126873b79ce845f5
