Upsells/Cross-Sells Link

    Hello;

    Is there a specific way to add upsells/cross-sells to products when creating them?

    I ask because when I type the name of the product I want to link to, it sometimes will find the product I am looking while other times it will say no results even through the product is in my inventory. If I type in the product’s ID number instead however, it always finds the product.

    So, my question is, do you enter by product name or by product ID?
    Maybe a second question is does it take time for WooCommerce to populate itself with my data to enable me to search by the product’s name? Products I have entered a few days ago seem to appear fine whilst newer ones entered say a few hours ago seem to not appear?

    My WooCommerce version is Version 4.7.0 and built on WordPress site using version 5.5.3 which in turn uses DIVI builder/Theme version 4.7.0.

    This sounds like it might be a caching issue. You could try clearing your WooCommerce transients after you have entered a list of products. Go to WooCommerce -> Status -> Tools. Clear transients is the first item on the list.
