• I purchased the UPS Shipping Add-On for WordPress from Cartpress website, but it does not have any instructions or documentation on how I can connect the shopping cart to the UPS account.

I already filled in the following information in the Settings:

    UPS user name
    UPS password
    UPS access key (generated)
    UPS account number
    Origin Postal Code
    Type of Package
    Type of Service

    Test Destination Postal Code
    Test Package Weight

and check the ACTIVE box to activate the shipping method, but it still shows ‘There is not applicable methods’ in my shopping cart

    Hi,

You have to config the countries and others settings in the shipping method. If you have a shipping method for country A and your client if for country B, then this shipping method will not available.

    Best regards

It set to the United States and my billing address used for testing is in Houston, Texas USA, but it still says the shipping method is not applicable.

I filled out the settings that were listed the first post in the backend and also registered with UPS a developer account and access key.

Your Plugin Extend only shows the admin screenshot, and no detailed documentation on how to connect to the official UPS account.

Please may you list out the steps to see if I missed any? I noticed your USPS and FedEx Extend had instructions on how to connect to the shipping process, but your UPS had no instructions whatsoever.

If I type in a test package weight and zip code, it generates the rates in the backend, but I don’t know why it does not show up in the front-end checkout process. I currently have flat-rate active as well because the site is up live and selling products.

    Flat Rate should show “Shipping”
If UPS shows up, it should also have “UPS Ground” under Sending Methods

I am not sure how to use the UPS Developer Kit…do I have to do something with the API before I request an access key? Do I have to request for production access?

There are no instructions on setting up the UPS to Cartpress, yet I paid for the Extend Add-On…

    Did you resolve this ?

I too purchased, I see a shipping amount on the backend, so I assumed it was working. I haven’t gone live with this extension, because theCartpress is not computing taxes correctly.

In fact, I have to keep UPS shipping Disabled on my local server (xampp) because it generates error messages about missing https wrappers (??).

But I did upload and activate the product on my live server to see if it worked.. I did not set up any products, just saw that it generated a shipping price via the “test” setting on the backend.

So, I assumed it would work once I updated my site to use theCartPress and UPS live shipping onto the live server..

After reading your post, I’m not as confident..
    Did you get it working??
    How?
Or, what have you decided to do instead?

    Thank You,
    Sheryl

This is not resolved…even tho I paid for the UPS Live Shipping…

…and no professional documentation or support

I am currently still using the Flat Rate…

There goes $50 bucks down the drain…
