I have the same issue as many others where UPS does not show up as an option when setting up shipping zones. I have debug enabled but no debug information shows up anywhere. the site is located here .

    Thanks

    Hi,

Shipping Zone is very help full when you configure Shipping options like Free or Flat rate shipping for different zones. However, our UPS plugin is an independent plugin which works at domestic level and international level. The plugin has inbuilt features like restricting the method at the country level or enable/disable desired domestic or international shipping services. Using Shipping zone is overkill for a complete shipping solution like UPS. As you will end up configuring the same setting under multiple zones. Hence our plugin will not appear in shipping zones.

But the plugin should show in the shipping settings in woocommerce shipping tab, where you can configure the plugin.

Thank you for the reply Lorenzo.

Yes, the plugin does show up in the shipping tab for configuration, however, it is not showing up in the cart for the customer to choose the option. Looks like i need support from the plugin developer at this point.

    hi,

There could be many reasons why the rates don’t show up in the cart page, here’s few things you need to check,
    1. make sure your products have weight and dimensions, both simple and variations.
    2. Make sure the real time rates are enabled in the plugin settings.
    3. Make sure you have entered the valid UPS API Credentials.
    4. Make sure the required services are enabled. Ex. UPS Standard, Worldwide Express, Ground etc.
    5. Make sure you have updated the ship from address correctly and the address match the country your account belong to and even in the woocommerce General setting it should be the same country.

If you still face issue please turn on the debug mode in the plugin settings, and while calculating the shipping cost in cart page copy the debug data and update it here, please make sure you remove the UPS Credentials field.

    Hi there,

I have followed all these steps and the rates still won’t show. Turned on debug mode and it shows a message I think will be a silly thing I’m missing but I can’t for the life of me figure it out.

Message says: City not yet supplied. Rates not requested.

Is it referring to the client’s adress? Because I keep putting different ones and updating the totals but get the same message.

(Update: rates are showing for US zip codes but I have availability set for all countries)

Any help would be much much appreciated.

Also: There is some WooCommerce documentation that talks about how to set up UPS as a shipping method. Searching for something similar is how I found that and this thread, but maybe it’s too old.

    Hi @lamayas

The city that is mentioned in the debug data may be the Origin City that you need to add in the plugin settings page. I suggest you check the plugin setting and add correct Origin Address, and then try to get the rates.

Also if you still face issue please turn on the debug mode in the plugin settings, and while calculating the shipping cost in cart page copy the debug request and response, and update it here,.
Please make sure you remove the UPS Credentials field.
