I have problem with setting the plugin. I got that errors:

[UPS] No rate returned for service code 08, The requested service is unavailable between the selected locations. (UPS code: 111210)

[UPS] No rate returned for service code 84, The requested service is invalid from the selected origin. (UPS code: 111100)

Thanks. Great news. How to resolve the problem with currency? The rates in $ are very high. Rates in UPS calculator are in Polish zloty.

    Hi Snecz,
You can resolve this problem by using Conversion Rate option in my premium upgrade of the plugin. For more information you can visit WooCommerce UPS Shipping Plugin with Print Label

Hi, I think I’ll use your premium version. I’m just trying to work it for one product.
But it’s not the problem with currency (shop sells in $) but high rates.
The plugin calculates the rate in $ no matter what the country is?

    Hi Snecz,
The currency is determined by the currency of your store. Your getting the rates in $ because your store currency is $. You can raise a pre sales request at WooForce for premium version.

For me $ is ok. But the rates are now too high.

    Hi Snecz,
In UPS the rates are not only calculated based on zip codes, weight and dimensions. There are two more options namely,

    1. Pick-up type
    2. Customer Classification

In our plugin we have made these with default options which is different from UPS Rate calculator. That is why the rates you are getting is different from UPS Rate calculator.

Hi, Ok. But 34$ for small package within one city Standard UPS is quite a lot I think.

    Hi Snecz,
Please provide me the following details,

    1. Rates in $ with Service name.
    2. origin and destination address
    3. product dimensions and weight

    Elvin, here you go:

Rates in $ with Service name:
    (UPS): 180$
    Saver (UPS): 46$
    Worldwide Express Plus (UPS): 139$
    Standard (UPS): 34$
    Worldwide Express (UPS): 52$

    origin and destination address:
    Origin: Poland 93428
    Destination: Poland 93428

    product dimensions and weight
    15x15x15 cm and 0.2 kg

    Hi Snecz,
The UPS API calculates the shipping rates based on the base country.

In your case it is Poland. So it is calculating and returning shipping rates in polish zloty. Since your store currency is set in US Dollars the rates are shown as dollar rates. You can verify this by checking that both the rates in your cart and ups rate calculator will be same excluding the currency.

As explained earlier, I have a workaround solution to overcome this problem. There is an option in my premium conversion rate. This will convert the rates returned based on the conversion rate you have provided in the conversion rate option.

    Thread Starter snecz

    (@snecz)

So you mean that these prices are in Polish zloty and after conversion they will be lower?

    Hi Snecz,
Yes. It will be lower after conversion.

    Thanks Elvin,
I will check once more the rates with already sent products and will get back to you.

I’m using the basic UPS plugin and I started with using it in Test mode. Now, I can’t see the API mode to change it back to LIVE.

    Hi Websitesbydenise,

Currently, our basic version of UPS plugin is working in live mode. But in our next release, we will provide an option to switch between live and test mode.
