Upraftplus Unable to Authenticate to Google Drive Account

    Hello Greetings,

    Please i have been using Updraftplus wordpress plugin for a long time now, to backup my website to google drive, through the settings in updraftplus, but since this month, i found out that, updraftplus could not perform any backups as usual it does, so i decided to reset the settings and connect it to google account again, but it could not authenticate, what it does is to reload back to updraftplus dashboard.

    i even tried to disable all my plugins and try to authenticate it again, but still the issue still persist, so i tried on reinstalling my wordpress installs, but still it wasn’t resolved, please i will show a video screen shot of how it redirect back to updraft dashboard with my mobile phone, the video shot will be uploaded on youtube.

    please i need a solution, because every website needs a backup everyday, to enable the admin secure the site for future.

    As I can see you are trying to authenticate from Mobile, Can you please authenticate it from Desktop/PC and check if you are able to authenticate GoogleDrive?

    Is the same issue with Pc or Computer, i just used Mobile to enable me to screen shot it…

    What happens if you temporarily de-activate all other plugins, and try again then?

    Yes is the same issue sir, i even removeed all plugins and re-installed my wordpress installations, but still the issue didn’t resolved… please i need help… thanks…

    Could you send me a copy of your server’s PHP Error log?
    You can find this log through your web hosting control panel (typically cPanel). If you are unsure where to find the PHP Error log, you can ask your hosts to provide it.

    You can copy the contents into an online tool (such as https://pastebin.com/ )

    i just checked my php errorlog and is only three lines of codes, and no updraftplus related issues on it… can i contact your support via email?

    i just switched to another theme, and the authenticate works, but with my theme it does not work or backup to google drive, please i need help to make it work with my theme… thanks…

    Hi,

    Apologies for the late reply.

    There must be in your theme that conflicts with the Google Drive authentication. I would suggest you contact the developer’s of your theme so they can fix it.

    Thanks for your reply, but the problem i have now, with now with my theme developer, is that my support license has expired, and i cannot post this issue to them. can you offer help, i love your plugin, is very easy to use.

    please i will need your help… i have another site, that runs on the same theme, and updraftplus plugin is working very well with it. i am using Publisher WordPress Theme, by BetterStudio. please help me, i have not done some backups for three months now, since i discovered this problem in my website.

    Is there any part of the theme that uses Google Drive? Is there anyway that can be disabled on the theme settings?
