• When using an ordered list in ROMAN UPPER CASE the number 4 appears to be misrepresented as “V.”, the same as for the number 5 — WHEN IN THE EDIT WINDOW. The reason for this is the position for roman upper case numbering is too narrow to accommodate the space needed for roman numbering.

The results from the editor demonstrate it is working fine, but how TinyMCE is working in the editor window needs to offer more left margin space for roman numbering as it takes up more room than other numbering forms.

I believe the change needed may be in defining the tadvdropzone wider than 115px specifically for roman numbering due to the space this numbering format uses.

I’m a bit confused ?? Are you talking about the Edit Post screen or the plugin’s settings screen. The class name tadvdropzone is used on the settings screen and has nothing to do with displaying lists.

If you mean the Edit Post screen, this is (usually) controlled by the theme’s editor-style.css. Try right-clicking and inspect element, then see if some more margin or padding on list items would fix it.

Yes it is on the edit post screen – the margin isn’t showing roman numerals trailing toward the left.

Sorry about the long delay in responding.

Most likely coming from editor-style.css from the theme. All ordered list settings work properly here when using Twenty Fifteen.

Thanks for the update. I can tell I wasn’t very clear on my documenting this behavior. Numbered lists that would have a prefix such as XVIII. would be showing the right-most sequence numbers due to insufficient margin in the edit-style.css. I’ve been using the twentyfourteen theme mostly. You’ve given me good insight on working through the exhibited behavior if/when I find it again.
