Upon upgrading to 4.0.1 the admin bar and revolution slider stopped working

Upon upgrading to 4.0.1 the admin bar and revolution slider stopped working..this plugin (v1.4) was at fault. I started turning them off one by one and checking the frontend. Once I the Recent Tweets Widget everything wroked again.
Let me add it was fine before the update to WordPress. I believe it was a clash with something in my theme. Hopefully it gets sorted in an plugin update soon
