Upon activation site goes down!

    Sorry to see that happened to your site. Typically issues like this are caused by a theme or plugin conflict. As a first step, could you try switching back to a default theme like Twenty Seventeen disabling all plugins except for WooCommerce and PayPal Checkout to see if this resolves the issue?

    How practical is it, really, to “switch back to a default theme like Twenty Seventeen disabling all plugins except for WooCommerce and PayPal Checkout to see if this resolves the issue?” You force us to use the Customizer and anything we put in there like our logo, custom settings and custom CSS is lost when we switch themes. And disabling a plug-in loses all its settings, too. Ridiculous advice for a live website.
